New income tax e-filing ITR portal: As per an internal circular by the income tax department, a new ITR e-filing portal IEC 3.0 is going to be launched soon. "Project IEC 3.0 is envisaged to provide not only a continuation of the services rendered by Project IEC 2.0, but also to put in place a significantly improved system to ensure a secure and user-friendly environment."
