With the taxpayers complaining about issues with the new e-filing portal this year as well, are there any chances of the income tax department extending the ITR filing deadline this year as well? Further, as per income tax experts so far, very few taxpayers have filed their tax returns, and the majority (more than 6 crore taxpayers) are yet to do it.
