PAN Aadhaar linking: 5 consequences if PAN becomes inoperative

The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) issued a notification on March 29, 2022, as well as a press release on March 30, 2022, informing the public of the change. To complete the PAN-Aadhaar linking procedure for detecting bogus PANs, the Finance Act of 2021 inserted a new section 234H to the Act.
