Why Budget 2022 may hike tax saving deduction limit under section 80C

The tax saving deduction limit under section 80C of the Income-tax Act, 1961 has last hiked in FY 2014-15 i.e. 7 years ago. Though salaries and expenses have gone up, the tax benefit has not been increased.
